My partner
My eye, my ear, my critic, my best friend, my mental support, my soulmate – that’s what my life partner Lars Ligus is to me.
Lars and I have been together since 2017. We got to know each other at the Kasselmann farm.
Lars is my “eye on the ground” in training and at competitions. As he has the Golden Riding Badge himself and is now also competing at Grand Prix level, I trust him completely. We speak the same language. So I know exactly when he says it’s good, then it’s an 8. And he can tell me why it’s not good, why it’s not an 8.
Of course, Lars is not “my” groom first and foremost, but is employed as a rider at Hof Kasselmann. He has a list of 15 horses that he works on every day. Only when we are at shows together does his groom ride the horses and Lars is then my emotional support and the one who has the coach phone in his ear. Lars is definitely the most important member of my team. My successes are also his successes!
THE KASSELMANN FAMILY
One of my most important supporters is the Kasselmann family. Hof Kasselmann, my employer, is THE place to make a career in riding. The best instructors – Ullrich and Bianca Kasselmann, I will always be grateful for their daily support – top horses and a wonderful, appreciative working atmosphere are the basis for the worldwide success of the Hof Kasselmann brand, “Success made by P.S.I.”. The motto for all of us is “encourage and challenge” in order to always achieve the best performance.

My greatest successes
In the course of my career to date, I have had the opportunity to enjoy many great successes as well as a few defeats – from which I have learned a lot, however. These will always remain unforgettable for me. Each one represents an incomparable moment.

Paris 2024 Olympics
Team gold together with Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Isabell Werth. The highlight of my riding career so far. My dream, my impossible dream, became reality.
Team gold EM 2025
Team gold at the European Championships in Crozet/FRA together with the German team – an unforgettable moment! We were also among the top 5 in the freestyle with Bluetooth, we are overjoyed and incredibly proud of this result.
Team victory at the CHIO Aachen 2025
I was able to celebrate victory with the German team in the Nations Cup – an unforgettable moment! In the individual classification, Bluetooth and I were also able to celebrate third place, a great result for both of us.
Team bronze World Championship 2022
What a tournament. Joy and disappointment were very close together. Nevertheless, it was an unforgettable experience that ended on a high note with the bronze medal for the team.
World Champion of Young Dressage Horses 2019
With the incomparable and unforgettable Zuccero, I became World Champion of 6-year-old dressage horses in 2019. With an average score of 9.66. What a horse!
2023 Silver medal in the team competition at the European Championships in Riesenbeck
The European Dressage Championships in Riesenbeck in 2023 were a very special championship for me, because they took place in my own country. When we secured the silver medal in the team competition, there was great jubilation. We were me, Isabell Werth, Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Mathias Alexander Rath
